Riparian Showcase Hamburg

Riparian Independent Film Showcase is a non-profit film project founded by Hanqi Sheng and Zhichao Zhu in 2022 in Hamburg, Germany.

 

The project produces regular monthly screenings, occasionally panels and workshops. The Showcase advocates for freedom and originality of filmmaking and chooses films and filmmakers that show the most genuine film spirit. With the panel, workshop, and post-screening Q&A, we would like to provide a field for communication beyond boundaries.

 

The showcase aims to present an unbiased perspective of contemporary Chinese independent art cinema, connect each other through screenings, and encourage free expression through film.
